The set of soft pads and steel shields is a complete protective system designed to be installed on the cage gate and extreme pillars. The steel shields protect throwing cage pillars against hammer and discus impacts and the soft pads protect a cage net against cutting when an incorrectly thrown hammer (or discus) presses the net to the steel shield during the impact. That radically prolongs the life of the throwing cage. For cages KLM-7/10-A and KLM-7/9-A.
